Controversial Knicks PG Stephon Marbury was finally bought out by New York and subsequently signed with a title contender in Boston. He was supposed to be the strong and versatile backup PG that the team sorely needed, but in his first game this season he looked rusty, slow, and out of shape. Will Bynum burnt him several times in the open court and it often looked like Marbury was lost in the offense.
He could turn out to be an integral piece to this team, but for the forseeable future he is as much a detriment as he is a help.
